Joanne is a very caring person. She spent a lot of time talking to myself and the kids about my husband’s life to prepare for his Celebration of Life / Interment. The things we remembered most and what was really important to us. How he had contributed to the family, to friends and community. What his interests, hobbies, achievements and quirks were. We never felt rushed; Joanne was focused on making sure the ceremony reflected our values, needs and would honour him. Family members commented that the service was much nicer than a traditional funeral - that is truly honoured him. They said Joanne’s style of presentation came across as very warm and caring. The meet and greet was very helpful, especially for those with little past experience at weddings. Joanne was great in personalizing our experience! With COVID in AB constantly changing the rules and restrictions, we were able to meet via teams/Skype to amend our plans on the fly over a few months. She also took the time to get to know us and find out our story to share with our guests. Joanne helped make our ceremony perfect and helped us get all the little details just right before the big day. Even though it was a blistering 33 degrees, she was 100% there with us and happy to share our day alongside our few family and friends that could attend.
